Notes ○ the competition focuses on (very) young pianists - age limit not higher than 22. apart from a main competition for the more adult pianists, the organisers also arrange contests or divisions for younger pianists, with lower age limits. (They may be held in the same time period, but may also occur separately or in alternating years, e.g. Bachauer, Cliburn, Cleveland, Hilton Head, Weimar.) □ this competition has no actual page (yet) in the current edition of the AAF catalogue. this is an online competition. This catalogue focuses on the 200 AAF member competitions and organisations and contains an enormous amount of details.
