○ the competition focuses on (very) young pianists - age limit not higher than 22 .  apart from a main competition for the more adult pianists, the organisers also arrange contests or divisions for younger pianists, with lower age limits. (They may be held in the same time period, but may also occur separately or in alternating years, e.g. Weimar, Hilton Head, Salt Lake City.) □ this competition has no page in the current edition of the AAF catalogue. *¹ in 2021, this competition was held in Zhuhai (China) and is listed there. *² in 2021, this competition was held in Bangkok, but will move to Kuala Lumpur in 2022. this is an online competition: the participants must submit a video recording of their performance. NB a few competition pages have not yet been updated. We hope to receive them soon.
